| CSJ CLASS DESCRIPTIONS |

| ZUMBA FITNESS: |
| It is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. |

| BODY ISOLATIONS: |
| It is designed to improve the coordination and isolations of the body needed for dancing. The focus is on your hips, torso, hands and feet. |

| BOOT CAMP JAM: |
| This class is a high-energy, heart pumpin’ interval workout. A combination of calisthenics, aerobic endurance, and strength training routines are taught in a fun and supportive environment! All fitness levels welcome. If you are new to exercise, see club staff about questions on modifications. |

| BROADWAY JAZZ: |
| Using music from your favorite musicals, this class is designed to teach the beginner how to dance on Broadway. You will learn moves such as: Jazz-square, grape-vine, kick-ball change, samba, salsa, mambo, and cha-cha. You will learn a routine at the end of each class that is gonna make you sweat! Come and enjoy your moment in the spotlight. Who knows, your next move may be on Broadway! For all levels. |

| CARDIO DANCE JAM: |
| A great high and low impact fast paced dance routines. The moves are broken down in a way that anyone can do. There will be a full stretch & abs workout at the end of class. |

| CARDIO KWON DO: |
| A high impact class designed to improve your cardiovascular system and strengthen the whole body, divided into three sections. First is intense cardio, kicking, jumping and punching. Second is floor work for legs, butt and abs. Last is a section of slow, controlled movements to help develop power and cool down the body. |

| CARDIO MIX JAM: |
| A fast and fun workout that will increase your cardiovascular strength and endurance. |

| CSJ PERFORMANCE: |
| You will learn real CSJ performance routines in a safe, supportive, and loving atmosphere. This class will show you how to give dance moves that polished shine as well as show you how to get the most out of every performance! Get ready to Smile! It’s Show Time! Intermediate/Advanced Level Students. |

| DANCE WORKOUT: |
| This class is designed like our Fit Jam class but has an added twist! Get ready to dance! All fitness levels welcome. |

| DANCING LIKE THE STARS: |
| That’s right! You too can dance like the stars! This unique class is designed to teach you some of the dances learned by the stars as seen on TV the previous night. You will also learn some of the “flash moves” seen to make the dances full of flair! So come on down and bring a friend and soon you will be dancing like the stars! All levels welcome. |

| FIT JAM WITH JELLY BELLS: |
| A total body workout! This unique class combines cardio with weights. Start with a 10 minute warm-up, followed by 30 to 40 minutes of endurance muscle toning. For extra intensity, you will have the option to use 2-1/2 to 5 pound hand weights to perform the exercises. All fitness levels welcome. |

| HIP HOP JAM: |
| Get ready to dance! Our Hip Hop is fun and fresh! Classes feature the latest moves and hot dance techniques as seen on TV. The music is high energy and funky! In a friendly atmosphere, you will start with a warm-up and stretch followed by a routine broken down step-by-step which can be used for performance, exercise or next school dance. This class will finish with a cool down. All levels welcome. |

| HIP HOP X-TREME: |
| Learn art forms such as poppin’, lockin’, wavin’, floatin’ and of course, the art of B-Boyin’/B-Girl (That’s breakin’ for all you that don’t know!) Put yourself to the challenge and have fun! All levels welcome. |

| JAZZ DANCE: |
| The beginning of a “professional” dance experience; jazz conditioning, respect for our bodies, and choreography! This will be your gateway to theatre and stage! A progression of skills and technique builds you into a confident dancer while having lots of fun in an upbeat atmosphere. This rich and rewarding dance class will add joy to your life. All levels welcome. |

| LATIN RHYTHMS: |
| This spicy and hot Latin dance class is sure to make you sweat! Salsa, cha cha and merengue too! This cardio class is the best of both worlds of fitness and dance. Don’t miss it! A great workout! For all fitness levels. |

| MODERN DANCE: |
| This class is a beginning to intermediate level dance taught with basic techniques, movements across the floor and choreographed combinations. You will learn the art of body movements and how to express yourself through motion. |

| PILATES: |
| You will learn how to center the body by stabilizing the pelvis and training core muscles (abdominal and back muscles) to be both movers as well as stabilizers. You will strengthen and lengthen the body. This class will improve your posture and help spinal alignment. All fitness levels welcome. |

| POI FIRE DANCING: |
| Learn the basic skills of spinning poi and how to maneuver flames around you in a breathtaking dance. You will discover a new empowering relationship with the element of fire and amaze yourself with your ability to put on an absolutely dazzling show! |

| SAMBA JAM: |
| Salsa, Samba, Afro-Brazilian, Belly Dancing, world beat movement all rolled up in one. Don’t miss this one of a kind amazing workout. All fitness levels welcome. |

| STEP JAM: |
| A high-energy aerobics class with attitude! This intermediate step class is sure to keep your heart pumpin’ while working out to fun choreography! Although some step knowledge is recommended all fitness levels are welcome. |

| STRETCH & ABS JAM: |
| A class designed to loosen up the muscles & increase flexibility while strengthening the abdominals. |

| A class designed to loosen up the muscles & increase flexibility with the addition of toning. |

| TAP: |
| This class will definitely get your rhythm going! Come learn the art of tap dancing through basic footwork techniques, time-steps, and combinations. |

| X-BIKING: |
| It’s outdoor cycling brought indoors. A 30-minute total body workout that targets the arms, legs, core & strengthens the lower-back muscles. It is a group ride like no other! Plus, burn up to 500 calories per session. |

| YOGA: |
| In this class, you will learn proper breathing techniques, gain strength and build muscle. This class will improve your posture and help spinal alignment. All fitness levels welcome. |
