Community Street Jam, for over 20 years, has brought the world of popular dance styles and made them accessible to students of all ages and backgrounds. This 1 hour class teaches the popular Hip Hop dance style and basic moves such as the 2 Step, Grapevine, Kick Ball Change, Pivots, Hip Rolls and Slides. Students will enjoy learning age appropriate dance moves, increase coordination and cardio fitness level. The choreography is basic, easy to follow and most importantly, lots of fun!
In a friendly atmosphere, we will start with a warm-up and stretch followed by a routine broken down step-by-step. As the series progresses, focus will be on polishing technique including formations, lines, timing, levels and hits as well as musicality. This class builds and hones dance skills that will last a lifetime!
